The Tools to mix well

I'd thought I'd share some thoughts on my favorite mixer in the DJ world, of course there are 100s and 100s of them, everytime I play out at a party there is always a Pioneer something something waiting to be beat on by the next guy , and 2 Technics decks , maybe some cd players. I have had the fortune though to play with what I feel is the greatest mixer ever concived: Rane MP2016A 19-Inchclub DJ Mixer

and it can come with this : Rane ZP2016A Expansion Unit For Mp2016A

you can find both here : http://www.pssl.com/DJ-Mixers?s=&c=&c=Rane-Serato

So, anyway, this or (these) bad boy(s) are it for me, I have played on various pioneer rigs, numark , dennon, and everything else , however THIS was it. The sound that comes out of this thing is all but amazing, a warmth and feel that only RANE can produce. To be sure RANE makes other great mixers I also can't afford, but this one is very good.

All rotary goodness everywhere, beautiful and even signal strengths and gains, amazing cuts makes this one a dream to use, there is a learning curve to be sure going from flippy crossfaders that seems to be either on or off, however this one is pure groove. It made my cds sound like vinyl, and yes your mixer can have everything to do with how your music actually sounds, whatever inards tehy put into this made it perfect for mixing house and breaks

i can only compare this mixer to making love, if you know what your doing you'll be thanked for it :0

So if anyone out there can afford it ($1700 just for the main board and about $600 for the trim) get it, dont even think about it, 4 phono/lin ins, and a effects support ins/outs , make it perfect for everthing you got

I still dream of the day of owning one of these for myself
